The course of instruction leading to the Foundation Licence
Examination takes place over a 2 day weekend, typically 10am to 5pm.
The first day is primarily theory whereas the second consists of more
theory, practical sessions and assessments, including an appreciation
of Morse Code, and the test. The results will be issued there and then.

Also includes 12 months FDARS membership.
The course of instruction leading to the Intermediate Licence
Examination takes place over 28 hours spread over 2 weekends,
normally 10am - 5pm. The training includes theory (building on
what you learnt in the Foundation course) and a number of
practical assessments, including building some circuits and a
radio related kit. The exam will take place on the final day.
Please note a pass at the Foundation level is a pre-requisite
for this course.
When: March 24th/25th (Weekend 1), March 31st/April 1st (Weekend 2), April 14th (Exam Day)

Advanced Licence Tutorial Day
This year we will support self-learning. You must have a copy of
the Advance! workbook (we can provide if necessary). We will
then offer a series of revision sessions leading up to the exam.
Please note that a pass at the Intermediate level is a pre-requisite for this course.
Cost: £42.50 examination fee
Advanced exam (not a course) on tba
We are able to offer any of the three examinations without
undergoing the course, however, the examiner will need to see:
- proof of having completed the necessary assessments for the Foundation Exam
- proof of having completed the Foundation licence and the assessments for the Intermediate Exam
- proof of completing the Intermediate licence for the Advanced Exam
